Storing the KLR in a customs wearhouse in San Jose, Costa
Rica, I flew home to Seattle to attend some weddings and spend the holidays with my family. At the end of October I flew to
Maui, Hawai'i to spend Halloween in Lahaina - reknowned as the Mardi Gras of the Pacific. Definately a bona-fide huya-bro
fiesta. Mahalo!
We rolled our Rent A Dent Durango to
the east side of the island, not far from the Maui international airport, to check out the wind-surfers rocking the big winds
& waves. This islander transported his board and sail using a hick-rigged trailer attatched to the back of his 1985 BMW1100.
Nifty trick that is. Maybe I should whip up something like that for my KLR down in Costa Rica. That's our White W. in the
background.
